BARK™ Silencer

The BARK Silencer™ is a new silencing device for treestand hunters and is proudly made in the USA. The BARK Silencer™ will eliminate the unnatural sound caused by a hunter's clothing when contacting with the tree's noisy bark. It is for anyone who hunts from a treestand and you just strap it around the tree.

The straps which fasten the unit around the tree are approximately 6 feet long. This should accommodate any size tree that most tree stands fit. These straps have gear hanging clips integrated into the straps to help organize your hunt. In the future, we may offer extender straps for use around larger trees.

The BARK Silencer™ comes in 2 sizes. In general, the large unit can be used with tree stands not having a backrest. The small unit can be used with tree stands that have a backrest. It is recommended tucking the bottom couple inches behind the top of a backrest that fastens around the tree.

For hunters wanting to cover more than 40 inches of noisy bark, use of more than one unit is encouraged. Cover the whole darn tree if you like.

The BARK Silencer™ comes in TrueTimber Conceal Brown Camo® in the exclusive Amerisuede fabric and is backed by fleece. These materials are odor resistant, water resistant, mildew resistant and has been treated with an antimicrobial additive. Amerisuede is very durable and very quiet material. Oh, the fleece is pretty quiet too. Occasional cleaning with warm water and scent free detergent is recommended and after market scent eliminating sprays and odor free waterproof sprays can be used.

There is a black polypropylene strap sewn across the bottoms of both models, this can be used to attach a seat pad, and we may also manufacture a seat that will attach to this in the future. This bottom strap will also help the hunter identify the bottom of the unit in low light conditions. HOWEVER, the BARK Silencer™ is not a safety device!
